Been to lots of beautiful spots but this was ten out of ten. Really enjoyed our stay, lovely to be able to bring the family dogs with us. They enjoyed the golf as much as we did. Lovely place to be able to unwind, with the family thanks. We’ll love to come back.
- Carol & Peter from Wellington . P.S. Loved the bath outside and all the candles inside (apart from hitting my head)

An excellent weekend in a wonderful lodge and surroundings! Made full use of the golf, cricket, badminton gear, caught shrimps from the stream, bathed in the Piri-piri cold springs, used the outdoor bath and watched the stars at night whilst listening to the stags roar. Very relaxing and will definitely recommend to friends, thanks for letting us experience this secluded spot.

Magic place! Just what we needed. The lodge is beautiful as are the surroundings. Did we miss TV? what TV! The bath is a must, love the way it gets hotter not colder. Mountain golf is great for everyone, even Caitlin (7) loved it. Crawley hunting was fun (came across Mr Eel as well). Was bit of a shame we didn't have any garlic butter (still yummy though)
The panoramic views at the top of the property were special (a zillion of photo's later). Overall a memorable experience, a cozy setting in what felt like our own private valley. Rating - 11 out of 10!

Geez what an amazing find, peaceful, quiet, natural and oh so beautiful. Loved the bath in the rain and the last great moth hunt. Wild venison for dinner with potato and wild silverbeat, all fresh from the hills. "Naked Golf" is a hoot -try it!! A quiet stroll down the winding river is a must - we'll be back for sure.
